{"id":5882,"date":"2026-04-17T16:27:35","date_gmt":"2026-04-17T19:27:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nahoranoticias.com\/?p=5882"},"modified":"2026-04-17T16:27:37","modified_gmt":"2026-04-17T19:27:37","slug":"ameaca-sobre-especies-dependentes-do-solo-e-desconhecida-diz-estudo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nahoranoticias.com\/?p=5882","title":{"rendered":"Amea\u00e7a sobre esp\u00e9cies dependentes do solo \u00e9 desconhecida, diz estudo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pesquisa foi divulgada no Dia da Conserva\u00e7\u00e3o do Solo e da \u00c1gua<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/tts-app.ebc.com.br\/media\/tts\/255439.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O estudo\u00a0<em>Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o Global do Risco de Extin\u00e7\u00e3o de Esp\u00e9cies Dependentes do Solo: avan\u00e7os recentes e recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es<\/em>\u00a0revela que pesquisas existentes ainda s\u00e3o insuficientes para avalia\u00e7\u00e3o do estado de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o dessa biodiversidade.\u00a0O alerta foi dado nesta quarta-feira (15), Dia da Conserva\u00e7\u00e3o do Solo e da \u00c1gua.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.png?id=1686121&amp;o=node\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.gif?id=1686121&amp;o=node\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O relat\u00f3rio,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/journals\/oryx\/article\/global-extinction-risk-assessment-of-soildependent-species-recent-progress-and-recommendations\/32D9E7825A6242EDCCDC147AD9162615\">divulgado em publica\u00e7\u00f5es cient\u00edficas internacionais<\/a>, destaca que solo \u00e9 fundamental para a sobreviv\u00eancia humana, j\u00e1 que 95% dos alimentos dependem da sa\u00fade desse ecossistema, que tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 capaz de armazenar 27% do carbono necess\u00e1rio para manter o aquecimento global abaixo de 2\u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A pesquisa, liderada pela organiza\u00e7\u00e3o social Conservation International (CI), estudou apenas as esp\u00e9cies listadas como amea\u00e7adas de extin\u00e7\u00e3o pela Uni\u00e3o Internacional para a Conserva\u00e7\u00e3o da Natureza (IUCN, na sigla em ingl\u00eas). A partir desses dados, 8.653 esp\u00e9cies puderam ser classificadas, das quais 20%, pelo menos 1.758 esp\u00e9cies, permanecem em risco de extin\u00e7\u00e3o, apontam os pesquisadores.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Outras 1.722 esp\u00e9cies, n\u00e3o puderam ser avaliadas por serem classificadas como com dados insuficientes para determinar seu status global, pertencendo \u00e0 lista da IUCN, a partir de dados regionais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cEsta \u00e9 a primeira vez que tentamos estudar o risco de extin\u00e7\u00e3o para esp\u00e9cies dependentes do solo, e os dados est\u00e3o realmente dispon\u00edveis apenas para esp\u00e9cies de vertebrados. Atualmente, h\u00e1 pouqu\u00edssima informa\u00e7\u00e3o sobre o estado de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o de invertebrados e fungos, que constituem a grande maioria das esp\u00e9cies dependentes do solo\u201d, explica o gerente da Unidade de Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o da Biodiversidade que liderou o estudo, Neil Cox.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Na avalia\u00e7\u00e3o dos pesquisadores, a lista mais abrangente que existe em todo o mundo sobre o risco de extin\u00e7\u00e3o global dessas esp\u00e9cies, que \u00e9 a Lista Vermelha de Esp\u00e9cies Amea\u00e7adas da IUCN, traz uma biodiversidade do solo \u201csub-representada\u201d.\u00a0E a falta de informa\u00e7\u00e3o pode resultar em um impacto negativo sobre a vida no planeta, j\u00e1 que outros estudos apontam que a diversidade do solo \u00e9 fundamental para um melhor funcionamento dos ecossistemas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Um exemplo \u00e9 o conhecimento sobre invertebrados e fungos dependentes do solo, que aparecem em um n\u00famero limitado na lista da IUCN,tendo apenas 503 esp\u00e9cies avaliadas, embora sejam maioria entre as esp\u00e9cies que recebem a classifica\u00e7\u00e3o de dependentes do solo, ou seja, que passam uma parte fundamental de seu ciclo de vida dentro do solo ou que habitam predominantemente a interface solo-serapilheira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u00c9 uma possibilidade que muitas esp\u00e9cies pouco conhecidas ou ainda n\u00e3o descobertas de invertebrados e fungos dependentes do solo possam ser perdidas antes mesmo de serem conhecidas \u2014 e isso \u00e9 muito preocupante. N\u00e3o sabemos exatamente qual seria o impacto da perda dessas esp\u00e9cies na sa\u00fade geral do solo, mas espera-se que seja negativo\u201d, alerta o pesquisador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A partir dessa avalia\u00e7\u00e3o, o estudo traz recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es para que comunidade acad\u00eamica, governos e sociedade possam avan\u00e7ar sobre o conhecimento em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a essa biodiversidade:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Estabelecer um grupo de trabalho sobre biota do solo no \u00e2mbito da Comiss\u00e3o de Sobreviv\u00eancia de Esp\u00e9cies da UICN;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fortalecer os la\u00e7os entre organiza\u00e7\u00f5es regionais e globais que atuam na gest\u00e3o da biodiversidade do solo;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aprimorar o compartilhamento de conhecimento entre a UICN, governos, propriet\u00e1rios de terras e o p\u00fablico sobre a import\u00e2ncia da conserva\u00e7\u00e3o do solo;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para Cox, isso implica ampliar a comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e a valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o da import\u00e2ncia de manter uma rica diversidade de esp\u00e9cies dependentes do solo nas atividades de manejo da terra.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u00c9 dif\u00edcil prever todos os impactos, mas, considerando a import\u00e2ncia dessas esp\u00e9cies para diversos servi\u00e7os ecossist\u00eamicos, como a decomposi\u00e7\u00e3o da mat\u00e9ria org\u00e2nica e a libera\u00e7\u00e3o ou ciclagem de nutrientes, a redu\u00e7\u00e3o dessa diversidade provavelmente afetar\u00e1 a sa\u00fade geral do solo da
