{"id":6117,"date":"2026-04-21T21:51:48","date_gmt":"2026-04-22T00:51:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nahoranoticias.com\/?p=6117"},"modified":"2026-04-21T21:51:49","modified_gmt":"2026-04-22T00:51:49","slug":"energia-solar-em-itaipu-tem-potencial-para-dobrar-capacidade-da-usina","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nahoranoticias.com\/?p=6117","title":{"rendered":"Energia solar em Itaipu tem potencial para dobrar capacidade da usina"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Binacional estuda novas fontes renov\u00e1veis para gera\u00e7\u00e3o el\u00e9trica<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/tts-app.ebc.com.br\/media\/tts\/255689.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O reservat\u00f3rio de \u00e1gua da usina de Itaipu, na fronteira do Brasil com o Paraguai, na Regi\u00e3o Sul do pa\u00eds, possui cerca de 1,3 mil quil\u00f4metros quadrados (km\u00b2) de per\u00edmetro, com quase 170 km de extens\u00e3o, desde a barragem at\u00e9 o lado oposto, e uma largura m\u00e9dia de 7 km entre as margens direita e esquerda.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.png?id=1686783&amp;o=node\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.gif?id=1686783&amp;o=node\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Toda a capacidade hidrel\u00e9trica contida na \u00e1rea inundada do Rio Paran\u00e1, que move turbinas que geram at\u00e9 14 mil megawatts (MW) de energia el\u00e9trica, tamb\u00e9m pode ser aproveitada para gerar eletricidade a partir de pain\u00e9is solares\u00a0instalados justamente sobre o espelho d&#8217;\u00e1gua. Esse \u00e9 o<a href=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/meio-ambiente\/noticia\/2025-10\/usina-de-itaipu-termina-montagem-de-ilha-solar-que-vai-gerar-energia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00a0experimento que vem sendo estudado por t\u00e9cnicos brasileiros e paraguaios<\/a>\u00a0desde o fim do ano passado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ao todo, foram instalados 1.584 pain\u00e9is fotovoltaicos em uma \u00e1rea de menos de 10 mil metros quadrados (m\u00b2) sobre o lago, a apenas 15 metros de um trecho da margem no lado paraguaio, com profundidade de aproximadamente 7 metros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A planta solar de Itaipu tem capacidade de gerar 1 megawatt-pico (MWp), unidade de medida para a capacidade m\u00e1xima de gera\u00e7\u00e3o de energia. Essa energia \u00e9 equivalente ao consumo de 650 casas e s\u00f3 \u00e9 utilizada para consumo interno, sem comercializa\u00e7\u00e3o e sem liga\u00e7\u00e3o direta com a rede de gera\u00e7\u00e3o hidrel\u00e9trica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Na pr\u00e1tica, o objetivo atual da &#8220;ilha solar&#8221; de Itaipu \u00e9 funcionar como um laborat\u00f3rio de pesquisa para futuras aplica\u00e7\u00f5es comerciais. Os engenheiros envolvidos no projeto analisam todos os aspectos, como a intera\u00e7\u00e3o das placas com o ambiente, incluindo eventuais impactos no comportamento de peixes e algas, na pr\u00f3pria temperatura da \u00e1gua, influ\u00eancia dos ventos sobre o desempenho do pain\u00e9is, a estabilidade da estrutura, dos flutuadores e da ancoragem com o solo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A ideia, no futuro, \u00e9 expandir a gera\u00e7\u00e3o de energia el\u00e9trica por esta via, algo que precisar\u00e1 ser atualizado no pr\u00f3prio Tratado de Itaipu, assinado em 1973 entre Brasil e Paraguai e que viabilizou a colossal obra de engenharia compartilhada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Se falarmos em um potencial bem te\u00f3rico, uma \u00e1rea de 10% do reservat\u00f3rio, coberta com placas solares, seria o mesmo que outra usina de Itaipu, em termos de capacidade de gera\u00e7\u00e3o. Claro que isso n\u00e3o est\u00e1 no planos, pois seria uma \u00e1rea muito grande e depende ainda de muitos estudos, mas mostra o potencial dessa pesquisa&#8221;, apontou o superintendente de Energias Renov\u00e1veis da Itaipu Binacional, Rog\u00e9rio Meneghetti.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Estimativas preliminares indicam que seriam necess\u00e1rios pelo menos quatro anos de tempo de instala\u00e7\u00e3o para atingir uma gera\u00e7\u00e3o solar de 3 mil megawatts (algo como 20% da capacidade instalada da hidrel\u00e9trica atualmente).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O investimento \u00e9 de US$ 854,5 mil (cerca de R$ 4,3 milh\u00f5es na cota\u00e7\u00e3o atual). As obras de instala\u00e7\u00e3o foram tocadas por um cons\u00f3rcio binacional formado pelas empresas Sunlution (brasileira) e Luxacril (paraguaia), vencedor da\u00a0licita\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Uma usina, muita fontes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A diversifica\u00e7\u00e3o de fontes de energia na Itaipu Binacional n\u00e3o se limita aos estudos em energia solar, mas envolve projetos ousados com hidrog\u00eanio verde e\u00a0baterias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Essas iniciativas est\u00e3o em desenvolvimento no Itaipu Parquetec, um ecossistema de inova\u00e7\u00e3o e tecnologia, criado em 2003 pela Itaipu Binacional em Foz do Igua\u00e7u (PR). Conta com parceria de\u00a0universidades e empresas p\u00fablicas e privadas e\u00a0j\u00e1 formou mais de 550 doutores e mestres em diferentes \u00e1reas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ali, funciona o Centro Avan\u00e7ado de Tecnologia de Hidrog\u00eanio, que desenvolve o hidrog\u00eanio verde. O hidrog\u00eanio \u00e9 denominado &#8220;verde&#8221;, ou sustent\u00e1vel, porque ele pode ser obtido sem emiss\u00e3o de g\u00e1s carb\u00f4nico (CO\u2082), causador do efeito estufa e, por consequ\u00eancia, do aquecimento global.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A t\u00e9cnica usada no Itaipu Parquetec \u00e9 o processo da eletr\u00f3lise da \u00e1gua, que promove a separa\u00e7\u00e3o dos elementos qu\u00edmicos a partir de mol\u00e9culas como a da \u00e1gua (H\u2082O), por meio do uso de equipamentos em processos qu\u00edmicos automatizados feitos em laborat\u00f3rios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/imagens.ebc.com.br\/UAMcDWzEUts8A-txguefecuul8w=\/754x0\/smart\/https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/sites\/default\/files\/thumbnails\/image\/2026\/04\/21\/_rbr1721.jpg?itok=jBY1Trbk\" alt=\"Foz do Igua\u00e7u (PR), 14\/04\/2026 - Itaipu Parquetec, centro tecnol\u00f3gico de inova\u00e7\u00e3o que integra entidades como institui\u00e7\u00f5es de ensino, empresas e \u00f3rg\u00e3os governamentais, da Itaipu Binacional. Foto: T\u00e2nia R\u00eago\/Ag\u00eancia Brasil\" title=\"T\u00e2nia R\u00eago\/Ag\u00eancia Brasil\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Foz do Igua\u00e7u (PR), 14\/04\/2026 &#8211; Itaipu Parquetec, centro tecnol\u00f3gico de inova\u00e7\u00e3o da Itaipu Binacional.\u00a0<strong>Foto:\u00a0T\u00e2nia R\u00eago\/Ag\u00eancia Brasil<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O hidrog\u00eanio verde \u00e9 vers\u00e1til e pode servir como insumo sustent\u00e1vel para a cadeia de produ\u00e7\u00e3o industrial, incluindo sider\u00fargica, qu\u00edmica, petroqu\u00edmica, agr\u00edcola, aliment\u00edcia entre outras, e como combust\u00edvel para o mercado de energia e transporte.\u00a0Em Itaipu, uma planta de produ\u00e7\u00e3o do hidrog\u00eanio verde serve como uma plataforma para desenvolvimento de projetos-piloto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;N\u00f3s somos uma plataforma tecnol\u00f3gica, ent\u00e3o trabalhamos para atender, por exemplo, projetos de pesquisa [cient\u00edfica] ou projetos para ind\u00fastria nacional. Existem algumas empresas nacionais que est\u00e3o fazendo seus desenvolvimentos de carreta [movida] a hidrog\u00eanio, de \u00f4nibus a hidrog\u00eanio, por exemplo. Aqui \u00e9 o lugar para testar e validar esses projetos&#8221;, explica Daniel Cantani, gerente do Centro de Tecnologia de Hidrog\u00eanio do Itaipu Parquetec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uma dessas iniciativas foi apresentada durante a 30\u00aa Confer\u00eancia das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas sobre Mudan\u00e7as Clim\u00e1ticas (COP30), em Bel\u00e9m, quando um barco movido a hidrog\u00eanio, a partir de uma pesquisa no Itaipu Parquetec, foi entregue para atuar na coleta seletiva das comunidades ribeirinhas no entorno da capital paraense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Outro destaque no Itaipu Parquetec \u00e9 um centro de gest\u00e3o energ\u00e9tica, que alavanca pesquisas na \u00e1rea de desenvolvimento de c\u00e9lulas e prot\u00f3tipos para fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o e reaproveitamento de baterias, para o armazenamento de energia, especialmente em sistemas estacion\u00e1rios, voltados para empresas ou outras esta\u00e7\u00f5es fixas, que demandam, por exemplo, uma reserva energ\u00e9tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Biog\u00e1s e SAF<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Itaipu tamb\u00e9m vem apostando na gera\u00e7\u00e3o de biog\u00e1s a partir de res\u00edduos org\u00e2nicos gerados pelos restaurantes espalhados por diferentes alas da usina e de materiais apreendidos pela Pol\u00edcia Rodovi\u00e1ria Federal (PRF) e pelo Minist\u00e9rio da Agricultura, Pecu\u00e1ria e Abastecimento (MAPA-Vigiagro), em fiscaliza\u00e7\u00e3o de fronteira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tudo isso, em vez de ser descartado em aterro, transforma-se em biog\u00e1s e biometano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A convite da Itaipu Binacional, a\u00a0Ag\u00eancia Brasil\u00a0acompanhou, no \u00faltimo dia 13 de abril, a reinaugura\u00e7\u00e3o da Unidade de Demonstra\u00e7\u00e3o de Biocombust\u00edveis que fica no complexo da usina. Vamos ouvir muito sobre o hidrog\u00eanio, sobre o SAF, inclusive por conta da\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.planalto.gov.br\/ccivil_03\/_ato2023-2026\/2024\/lei\/l14993.htm\">lei de combust\u00edveis futuro<\/a>, que vem a\u00ed com mandato.
