Pelo cen\u00e1rio, o n\u00famero de pessoas nessa faixa et\u00e1ria no Brasil cai 10,4% desde 2012, com redu\u00e7\u00e3o no contingente, passando de 98,2 milh\u00f5es para 88,0 milh\u00f5es de pessoas. As informa\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00e3o da <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibge.gov.br\/estatisticas\/sociais\/populacao\/17270-pnad-continua.html?edicao=46417&amp;t=resultados\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pnad Cont\u00ednua: Caracter\u00edsticas dos domic\u00edlios e moradores<\/a>, divulgada pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estat\u00edstica (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibge.gov.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IBGE<\/a>).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Os dados mostram que em 2025 a popula\u00e7\u00e3o brasileira atingiu 212,7 milh\u00f5es de pessoas. No entanto, o ritmo de crescimento desacelerou para 0,4% ao ano. Conforme a Pnad, o pa\u00eds est\u00e1 envelhecendo \u2013 j\u00e1 que o grupo com menos de 30 anos diminuiu e o n\u00famero de idosos, com 60 anos ou mais, j\u00e1 representa 16,6% do total de habitantes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al\u00e9m disso, no per\u00edodo 2012-2023, a popula\u00e7\u00e3o de 30 anos ou mais cresceu e passou de 50,1% para 58,6%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A popula\u00e7\u00e3o de idosos tinha uma estimativa de 11,3% em 2012. Entre esses brasileiros, houve um aumento no n\u00famero de pessoas de 65 anos ou mais de idade, que atingiu 11,6% da popula\u00e7\u00e3o total em 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recorte regional<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 concentra\u00e7\u00e3o populacional nas regi\u00f5es em 2025, a Regi\u00e3o Norte tinha a maior quantidade nos grupos mais jovens, com 41,5% de sua popula\u00e7\u00e3o com menos de 24 anos de idade. J\u00e1 Sudeste e Sul registraram os menores percentuais de popula\u00e7\u00e3o nessa faixa, com 31,1% e 31,6%, respectivamente, e a m\u00e9dia nacional situou-se em 33,7%.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">J\u00e1 a popula\u00e7\u00e3o com menos de 18 anos de idade em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao total diminuiu em todas as grandes regi\u00f5es no per\u00edodo de 2012 a 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Por sua vez, as maiores concentra\u00e7\u00f5es da popula\u00e7\u00e3o com 60 anos ou mais de idade foram registradas no Sudeste e Sul, ambas com 18,1%. Em contrapartida, a menor foi observada na Regi\u00e3o Norte, sendo 11,3%. J\u00e1 a popula\u00e7\u00e3o idosa cresceu em todas as grandes regi\u00f5es na compara\u00e7\u00e3o com 2012.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Popula\u00e7\u00e3o masculina \u00e9 mais jovem que a feminina<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No ano passado, as mulheres correspondiam a 51,2% da popula\u00e7\u00e3o do pa\u00eds e os homens eram 48,8%.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quando consideradas as grandes regi\u00f5es, em todas h\u00e1 mais mulheres do que homens. <strong>Confira o percentual das propor\u00e7\u00f5es de mulheres em rela\u00e7\u00e3o aos homens por regi\u00e3o:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Nordeste (51,7%);<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sudeste (51,3%) ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Centro-Oeste (50,7%);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sul (50,9%);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Norte (50,6%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Pnad revela que a popula\u00e7\u00e3o masculina possui um padr\u00e3o mais jovem que a feminina. Em 2025, para todos os grupos et\u00e1rios at\u00e9 24 anos, os homens tinham estimativa superior \u00e0 das mulheres.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Na faixa et\u00e1ria de 25 a 29 anos, os contingentes de homens e mulheres eram pr\u00f3ximos, ficando em 3,9% da popula\u00e7\u00e3o total.
