{"id":6667,"date":"2026-05-03T16:04:32","date_gmt":"2026-05-03T19:04:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nahoranoticias.com\/?p=6667"},"modified":"2026-05-03T16:04:34","modified_gmt":"2026-05-03T19:04:34","slug":"bioeconomia-em-areas-degradadas-cria-producao-sustentavel-no-para","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nahoranoticias.com\/?p=6667","title":{"rendered":"Bioeconomia em \u00e1reas degradadas cria produ\u00e7\u00e3o sustent\u00e1vel no Par\u00e1"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Projetos de agrofloresta e agroecologia transformam comunidades<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/tts-app.ebc.com.br\/media\/tts\/255911.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Em uma antiga \u00e1rea de pasto, na zona rural de Cana\u00e3 dos Caraj\u00e1s, no Par\u00e1, est\u00e1 instalada uma fazenda-laborat\u00f3rio da Belterra Agroflorestas. \u00c9 nesta fazenda, chamada de S\u00e3o Francisco, que a Belterra desenvolve um trabalho de restaura\u00e7\u00e3o de pastagens por meio de um sistema agroflorestal (SAF) para o cultivo de cacau.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.png?id=1687193&amp;o=node\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.gif?id=1687193&amp;o=node\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nesse sistema agroflorestal, pr\u00f3ximo \u00e0 Floresta Nacional dos Caraj\u00e1s, diferentes culturas coexistem. O plantio de bananeiras, por exemplo, \u00e9 usado&nbsp;para criar um ambiente favor\u00e1vel, com bastante sombra, para o crescimento do cacau e das esp\u00e9cies florestais.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apoiada pela Vale desde 2020 e, mais recentemente, pelo Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econ\u00f4mico e Social (BNDES), por meio do Fundo Clima, a Belterra \u00e9 um exemplo de empresa que come\u00e7ou como startup e que tem se dedicado a recuperar \u00e1reas degradadas com&nbsp;sistemas agroflorestais (SAFs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al\u00e9m de movimentar a economia da regi\u00e3o, esse projeto ajuda a promover a restaura\u00e7\u00e3o florestal, conectando pequenos e m\u00e9dios produtores ao mercado de cr\u00e9ditos de carbono.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/imagens.ebc.com.br\/En7C7nuA_8WNWBiVbU1JnHYUK5M=\/754x0\/smart\/https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/sites\/default\/files\/thumbnails\/image\/2026\/04\/24\/whatsapp_image_2026-04-24_at_19.07.14.jpeg?itok=gdHCCdrJ\" alt=\"Fazenda-laborat\u00f3rio da Belterra Agroflorestas, no Par\u00e1. Foto:&nbsp;<strong>Washington Alves\/Light Press<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Produ\u00e7\u00e3o sustent\u00e1vel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">S\u00f3 na regi\u00e3o amaz\u00f4nica h\u00e1 atualmente 789 startups que produzem um impacto positivo sobre a floresta, segundo a plataforma Jornada Amaz\u00f4nia. Mas elas n\u00e3o s\u00e3o as \u00fanicas. Outras cadeias produtivas ligadas \u00e0 floresta, \u00e0 agroecologia, \u00e0 bioeconomia e \u00e0 agricultura familiar tamb\u00e9m est\u00e3o impulsionando a economia e a gera\u00e7\u00e3o de renda na regi\u00e3o amaz\u00f4nica, especialmente no Par\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecu\u00e1ria (Embrapa), que \u00e9 vinculada ao Minist\u00e9rio da Agricultura e Pecu\u00e1ria (Mapa), por exemplo, tem desenvolvido mais de 40 projetos relacionados \u00e0 bioeconomia na regi\u00e3o amaz\u00f4nica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entre eles, h\u00e1 projetos relacionados ao guaran\u00e1, ao cacau e \u00e0 castanha. H\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m projetos voltados \u00e0 produ\u00e7\u00e3o de gr\u00e3os e at\u00e9 de carne, com balan\u00e7os favor\u00e1veis de carbono, ou seja, com baixa emiss\u00e3o de gases de efeito estufa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cS\u00e3o projetos que est\u00e3o em plena execu\u00e7\u00e3o e com diferentes abordagens. Um desses exemplos \u00e9 o melhoramento gen\u00e9tico do a\u00e7a\u00ed, uma cultura que tem uma import\u00e2ncia enorme para a popula\u00e7\u00e3o amaz\u00f4nica\u201d, disse Alexandre Hoffmann, engenheiro agr\u00f4nomo, pesquisador e gerente-adjunto de portf\u00f3lios e programas de PD&amp;I da Embrapa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Em entrevista \u00e0&nbsp;<strong>Ag\u00eancia Brasil<\/strong>, Hoffmann destacou que \u00e9 poss\u00edvel manter a biodiversidade das florestas e, ao mesmo tempo, gerar produ\u00e7\u00f5es agr\u00edcolas sustent\u00e1veis na regi\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cA biodiversidade da Amaz\u00f4nia tem um potencial que n\u00e3o foi ainda explorado em sua totalidade. Mas isso n\u00e3o significa derrubar a floresta. Muito pelo contr\u00e1rio: significa manter a floresta em p\u00e9 e utiliz\u00e1-la de forma sustent\u00e1vel, n\u00e3o s\u00f3 a floresta em si, como tamb\u00e9m os recursos que l\u00e1 est\u00e3o\u201d, disse ele.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cA manuten\u00e7\u00e3o da floresta em p\u00e9 \u00e9 uma quest\u00e3o de sobreviv\u00eancia n\u00e3o s\u00f3 da regi\u00e3o amaz\u00f4nica. Isso diz respeito tamb\u00e9m \u00e0s quest\u00f5es de balan\u00e7o h\u00eddrico, \u00e0s rea\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e0s mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas. Foto:&nbsp;<strong>Washington Alves\/Light Press<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Assentamento Palmares II<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al\u00e9m das agroflorestas, h\u00e1 diversos outros projetos sustent\u00e1veis&nbsp;na regi\u00e3o amaz\u00f4nica que buscam preservar a biodiversidade, ao mesmo tempo em que geram renda e seguran\u00e7a alimentar. Muitos desses projetos s\u00e3o tocados por agricultores familiares e comunidades tradicionais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Em um antigo assentamento do Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem-Teto (MST), chamado de Palmares II, localizado na cidade de Parauapebas, por exemplo, produtores rurais est\u00e3o iniciando o plantio de mandioca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tamb\u00e9m apoiados pela Vale, cerca de 33 produtores e produtoras da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o dos Produtores da Vila Palmares Sul (Aprovipar) decidiram unir for\u00e7as no plantio da mandioca para fortalecer a agricultura familiar e a agroecologia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">H\u00e1 cerca de dois anos, eles se aliaram \u00e0 Cooperativa dos Produtores de Alimentos de Parauapebas (Coopa) para dar um destino \u00e0 sua produ\u00e7\u00e3o. O primeiro passo j\u00e1 foi dado, com a inaugura\u00e7\u00e3o da Casa de Farinha da Palmares II, onde a mandioca produzida pela agricultura familiar vai ser descascada, lavada, prensada, escaldada e torrada para se transformar em diversos tipos de farinha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O vice-presidente da associa\u00e7\u00e3o, Roberto de Almeida Menezes, destacou que&nbsp;n\u00e3o adianta produzir se n\u00e3o for poss\u00edvel beneficiar ou escoar a produ\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cS\u00f3 arrancar e vender a mandioca \u00e9 muito dif\u00edcil. \u00c9 preciso beneficiar. Hoje, Parauapebas n\u00e3o produz nem 2% dos derivados de mandioca que consome. Vem tudo de fora. Ent\u00e3o, n\u00f3s n\u00e3o temos medo de colocar nosso produto no mercado\u201d, acrescentou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para aumentar essa produ\u00e7\u00e3o, os produtores chamaram um especialista para fazer um processo de an\u00e1lise e de corre\u00e7\u00e3o do solo, al\u00e9m da aduba\u00e7\u00e3o adequada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNosso plantio foi iniciado no final de 2024. A mandioca precisa de 18 meses para estar pronta. Ent\u00e3o, ainda teremos mais uns meses para a colheita\u201d, disse o vice-presidente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para produzir essa mandioca, as fam\u00edlias assentadas v\u00eam trabalhando na consolida\u00e7\u00e3o da agroecologia, um modelo de produ\u00e7\u00e3o que vai al\u00e9m da agricultura tradicional, promovendo pr\u00e1ticas sustent\u00e1veis e sem o uso de agrot\u00f3xicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Segundo o pr\u00f3prio MST, a agroecologia \u00e9 at\u00e9 mesmo uma alternativa para o enfrentamento das mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas, j\u00e1 que procura utilizar t\u00e9cnicas e manejos mais naturais e que n\u00e3o promovem a degrada\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A&nbsp;diretora de solu\u00e7\u00f5es baseadas na natureza da Vale,&nbsp;Patricia Daros, ressaltou que o MST \u00e9 um dos maiores produtores de alimentos org\u00e2nicos do Brasil. Ela afirma que a empresa olha para o territ\u00f3rio em que atua e v\u00ea oportunidades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Somos uma grande empresa, temos o nosso neg\u00f3cio que \u00e9 produzir min\u00e9rio de ferro, cobre e n\u00edquel, mas a gente est\u00e1 dentro de um territ\u00f3rio. E n\u00e3o podemos negligenciar isso. O mercado de restaura\u00e7\u00e3o florestal hoje no Brasil est\u00e1 pujante. Sistemas agroflorestais s\u00e3o f\u00e1ceis? N\u00e3o. Mas se voc\u00ea olhar para uma Belterra que n\u00e3o existia cinco anos atr\u00e1s e hoje \u00e9 uma das maiores empresas de restaura\u00e7\u00e3o florestal no Brasil, estes s\u00e3o neg\u00f3cios que est\u00e3o dando certo\u201d, destacou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bioeconomia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tanto a Belterra Agroflorestas quanto o projeto de produ\u00e7\u00e3o e de beneficiamento da mandioca por meio de projetos que envolvem a agricultura familiar e a agroecologia materializam uma das grandes tend\u00eancias da atividade agropecu\u00e1ria para as pr\u00f3ximas d\u00e9cadas: o avan\u00e7o da chamada bioeconomia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De maneira geral, a bioeconomia \u00e9 um modelo econ\u00f4mico baseado no uso sustent\u00e1vel dos recursos naturais. Al\u00e9m desses projetos serem sustent\u00e1veis, eles tamb\u00e9m fortalecem as tradi\u00e7\u00f5es locais e as cadeias produtivas.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/meio-ambiente\/noticia\/2025-05\/potencial-para-bioeconomia-atrai-investimentos-na-amazonia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Na Amaz\u00f4nia, os resultados positivos dessa forma sustent\u00e1vel de neg\u00f3cio tem atra\u00eddo, cada vez mais, investimentos de governos e da iniciativa privada<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Em uma estimativa conservadora, que desconsidera os efeitos de novas pol\u00edticas clim\u00e1ticas, a Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Brasileira de Bioinova\u00e7\u00e3o (Abbi) diz que a bioeconomia poder\u00e1 movimentar US$ 108 bilh\u00f5es no pa\u00eds at\u00e9 2050.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">S\u00f3 no Par\u00e1, por exemplo, a bioeconomia da sociobiodiversidade tem movimentado R$ 13,5 bilh\u00f5es por ano, impulsionada por cadeias produtivas ligadas \u00e0 floresta, aos rios e \u00e0 agricultura familiar, segundo dados do Relat\u00f3rio T\u00e9cnico Preliminar: An\u00e1lise da Bioeconomia da Sociobiodiversidade no Estado do Par\u00e1. O documento foi elaborado pela Rede Par\u00e1 de Estudos sobre Contas Regionais e Bioeconomia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Integra\u00e7\u00e3o<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Embora j\u00e1 estejam provocando algumas mudan\u00e7as e at\u00e9 ajudado a movimentar a economia da regi\u00e3o amaz\u00f4nica, esses diversos projetos de bioeconomia, no entanto, ainda s\u00e3o incipientes na tarefa de mitigar a crise clim\u00e1tica. Para Pedro Abel Vieira, pesquisador da \u00e1rea de estudos estrat\u00e9gicos da Embrapa, os projetos desenvolvidos na Amaz\u00f4nia s\u00e3o atualmente fragmentados e heterog\u00eaneos, sem conversarem entre si.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOs projetos s\u00e3o positivos, mas sem foco\u201d, diz ele, que defende uma vis\u00e3o mais hol\u00edstica ou integrada para a Amaz\u00f4nia. \u201cN\u00f3s precisamos ocupar, e ocupar no sentido institucional de Estado, da presen\u00e7a do Estado l\u00e1. \u00c9 preciso dar dire\u00e7\u00f5es e criar institucionalidades [nessa regi\u00e3o]\u201d, destacou.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depois dessa presen\u00e7a, ressalta ele, \u00e9 preciso tamb\u00e9m dar um direcionamento para esses projetos e garantir previsibilidade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cN\u00f3s temos que avan\u00e7ar agora no que a gente chama de bioeconomia ampliada [um processo que combinaria inova\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica com conhecimento tradicional, especialmente para promover a biodiversidade, o desenvolvimento rural e a descarboniza\u00e7\u00e3o industrial]. E isso s\u00f3 \u00e9 poss\u00edvel com coordena\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d, refor\u00e7ou Vieira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Estrat\u00e9gia&nbsp;inclusiva<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Projetos de agloflorestas e agroecologia, que buscam transformar terras degradadas em uma produ\u00e7\u00e3o sustent\u00e1vel,&nbsp;ocorrem no momento em que as mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas apontam que o reflorestamento \u00e9 uma quest\u00e3o urgente mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41586-023-06970-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Um estudo publicado pela revista Nature em 2024<\/a>&nbsp;apontou que, em 2050, a Amaz\u00f4nia poder\u00e1 atingir o chamado \u201cponto de n\u00e3o retorno\u201d,&nbsp;em que a floresta n\u00e3o seria capaz de se sustentar e o bioma come\u00e7aria a sofrer um processo de savaniza\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Isso pode fazer com que planta\u00e7\u00f5es em todo o pa\u00eds tamb\u00e9m sejam impactadas e perdidas, j\u00e1 que a Amaz\u00f4nia \u00e9 fundamental para a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o do regime de chuvas no Brasil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por isso, a bioeconomia aparece como uma boa alternativa para o Brasil.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/meio-ambiente\/noticia\/2026-04\/governo-apresenta-plano-para-desenvolver-bioeconomia-no-pais\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">No in\u00edcio deste m\u00eas, o governo federal lan\u00e7ou o Plano Nacional de Desenvolvimento da Bioeconomia (PNDBio), uma estrat\u00e9gia para tornar a bioediversidade um dos grandes ativos do pa\u00eds<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No lan\u00e7amento do plano, a secret\u00e1ria nacional de Bioeconomia do Minist\u00e9rio do Meio Ambiente e Mudan\u00e7a do Clima, Carina Pimenta, defendeu que o plano \u00e9 uma grande estrat\u00e9gia de desenvolvimento nacional que olha para os ativos ambientais n\u00e3o apenas do ponto de vista da conserva\u00e7\u00e3o, mas de como fazer o uso deles dentro das atividades econ\u00f4micas, &#8220;gerando um novo ciclo de prosperidade&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cA Estrat\u00e9gia Nacional de Bioeconomia tem uma formula\u00e7\u00e3o muito interessante\u201d, admitiu o pesquisador Roberto Porro, da Embrapa Amaz\u00f4nia Oriental. No entanto, destacou ele \u00e0&nbsp;<strong>Ag\u00eancia Brasil<\/strong>, \u00e9 preciso observar se essa estrat\u00e9gia criada pelo governo federal vai garantir tamb\u00e9m o fortalecimento da sociobiodiversidade e da economia inclusiva, principalmente na regi\u00e3o amaz\u00f4nica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cA bioeconomia est\u00e1 sendo abarcada por uma gama muito grande de atividades, de setores e de possibilidades econ\u00f4micas e isso traz consigo uma s\u00e9rie de desafios\u201d, destacou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cQuando voc\u00ea trabalha com comunidades tradicionais ou com um segmento social que tem sido&nbsp;marginalizado&nbsp;h\u00e1 d\u00e9cadas, ent\u00e3o n\u00e3o \u00e9 adequado voc\u00ea trabalhar com a l\u00f3gica do mercado pura e simples e com os tempos ou com o cronograma que o mercado demanda\u201d, refor\u00e7ou.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para ele, n\u00e3o basta pensar na bioeconomia em uma perspectiva de preserva\u00e7\u00e3o das florestas se n\u00e3o se garante a justi\u00e7a social.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;N\u00e3o basta voc\u00ea substituir combust\u00edvel f\u00f3ssil e n\u00e3o basta voc\u00ea ter uma produ\u00e7\u00e3o agr\u00edcola mais produtiva se voc\u00ea fizer isso \u00e0s custas de quest\u00f5es sociais e das culturas locais\u201d, afirmou. \u201cPor isso eu espero que se consolidem essas iniciativas voltadas a uma bioeconomia inclusiva, de fato.
