{"id":7133,"date":"2026-05-13T10:26:57","date_gmt":"2026-05-13T13:26:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nahoranoticias.com\/?p=7133"},"modified":"2026-05-13T10:26:58","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T13:26:58","slug":"fragmentos-de-vegetacao-nativa-cresceram-no-pais-260-em-38-anos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nahoranoticias.com\/?p=7133","title":{"rendered":"Fragmentos de vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o nativa cresceram no pa\u00eds 260% em 38 anos"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Desmatamento \u00e9 a causa maior desse problema, diz estudo do Mapbiomas<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/tts-app.ebc.com.br\/media\/tts\/256682.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As por\u00e7\u00f5es isoladas de vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o nativa cresceram de 2,7 milh\u00f5es, em 1986, para 7,1 milh\u00f5es, em 2023, em todo o pa\u00eds, conclui um novo estudo do Mapbiomas divulgado nesta quarta-feira (13).<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.png?id=1689270&amp;o=node\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agenciabrasil.ebc.com.br\/ebc.gif?id=1689270&amp;o=node\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O aumento de 260%, em 38 anos, demonstra como o desmatamento no Brasil transformou grandes extens\u00f5es cont\u00ednuas de cobertura verde em pequenos fragmentos remanescentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Os dados s\u00e3o do M\u00f3dulo de Degrada\u00e7\u00e3o, uma plataforma desenvolvida pelo MapBiomas, que permite a an\u00e1lise, integra\u00e7\u00e3o de dados e monitoramento das transforma\u00e7\u00f5es na cobertura e no uso da terra no Brasil. Pela primeira vez, a fragmenta\u00e7\u00e3o &#8211; processo de divis\u00e3o de grandes extens\u00f5es de vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o nativa \u2013 foi analisada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al\u00e9m do aumento na quantidade, os pesquisadores tamb\u00e9m constataram a diminui\u00e7\u00e3o do tamanho dos fragmentos. Enquanto no in\u00edcio da s\u00e9rie hist\u00f3rica a m\u00e9dia de tamanho dos fragmentos era de 241 hectares, em 2023 eles encolheram para um tamanho m\u00e9dio de apenas 77 hectares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Segundo o pesquisador do Instituto de Pesquisa Ambiental da Amaz\u00f4nia (Ipam), Dhemerson Conciani, que coordena o M\u00f3dulo de Degrada\u00e7\u00e3o, os dados preocupam porque o tamanho dos fragmentos de vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o nativa tem rela\u00e7\u00e3o direta com a quantidade e variedade da fauna e da flora presente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cCada vez que diminui o tamanho de um fragmento de vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o nativa, mais problemas aparecem: aumenta o risco de extin\u00e7\u00f5es locais das esp\u00e9cies, diminui a chance de recoloniza\u00e7\u00e3o por indiv\u00edduos vindos de outros fragmentos vizinhos e maior \u00e9 a propor\u00e7\u00e3o do efeito de borda [perda de caracter\u00edsticas naturais mais presentes nas margens pr\u00f3ximas \u00e0s \u00e1reas degradas]\u201d, analisa Conciani.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Biomas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De acordo com o estudo, quase 5% da vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o nativa do Brasil, o equivalente a 26,7 milh\u00f5es de hectares, est\u00e1 em fragmentos menores que 250 hectares. E as pequenas por\u00e7\u00f5es isoladas est\u00e3o mais presentes na Mata Atl\u00e2ntica, onde elas respondem por quase 28% da vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o nativa remanescente &#8211; ou 10 milh\u00f5es de hectares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Em quantidade absoluta de fragmentos, a Mata Atl\u00e2ntica e o Cerrado s\u00e3o os que mais possuem por\u00e7\u00f5es isoladas de vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o nativa, sendo 2,7 milh\u00f5es em cada bioma. Para Natalia Crusco, coordenadora t\u00e9cnica de Mata Atl\u00e2ntica no MapBiomas, o avan\u00e7o da fragmenta\u00e7\u00e3o nos dois biomas ocorre por raz\u00f5es diferentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cEnquanto no Cerrado o aumento no n\u00famero de fragmentos est\u00e1 associado ao avan\u00e7o do desmatamento e \u00e0 divis\u00e3o de grandes remanescentes de vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o nativa em \u00e1reas menores; na Mata Atl\u00e2ntica, parte desse aumento tamb\u00e9m pode ser explicada por um processo no sentido oposto ao desmatamento, ou seja, pelo surgimento de m\u00faltiplas \u00e1reas de recupera\u00e7\u00e3o da vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o secund\u00e1ria\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nos biomas Amaz\u00f4nia, Caatinga, Pampa e Pantanal o n\u00famero de fragmentos foi de respectivamente quase 662 mil, 600 mil, 324 mil e 45 mil, em 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ao longo dos 38 anos observados, Pantanal e a Amaz\u00f4nia foram os que sofreram mais fragmenta\u00e7\u00e3o, com aumento de 350% e 332%, respectivamente. No Pampa, o n\u00famero de por\u00e7\u00f5es isoladas cresceu 285% e no Cerrado aumentou 172%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Caatinga e Mata Atl\u00e2ntica variaram menos, mas ainda tiveram aumento de fragmenta\u00e7\u00e3o de suas vegeta\u00e7\u00f5es com crescimentos de 90% e 68%, respectivamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Em redu\u00e7\u00e3o de fragmentos, a Amaz\u00f4nia foi a mais impactada. As por\u00e7\u00f5es de vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o nativa no bioma encolheram 82% ao longo do per\u00edodo estudado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enquanto em 1986, a m\u00e9dia de tamanho dos fragmentos era de 2.727 hectares; em 2023, essa m\u00e9dia caiu para 492 hectares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Novidade<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Os dados trazidos pelo M\u00f3dulo de Degrada\u00e7\u00e3o permitiram uma nova an\u00e1lise aos pesquisadores: a identifica\u00e7\u00e3o de dist\u00farbios no dossel de forma\u00e7\u00f5es florestais &#8211; cobertura formada pelas copas das \u00e1rvores mais altas &#8211; em toda a Amaz\u00f4nia Legal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entre 1988 e 2024, foi detectado algum sinal de dist\u00farbio, ao longo de, pelo menos, um m\u00eas, em 24,9 milh\u00f5es de hectares, \u00e1rea equivalente a 7% da cobertura de floresta na Amaz\u00f4nia Legal. Na pr\u00e1tica, s\u00e3o clareiras resultantes de secas, ventos, inc\u00eandios, corte seletivo de madeira, efeito de borda ou outras perturba\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Segundo os pesquisadores, o corte seletivo de madeira \u00e9 uma das principais causas de dist\u00farbio de dossel na Amaz\u00f4nia Legal. Durante o per\u00edodo estudado, foram identificados 9,7 milh\u00f5es de hectares com ind\u00edcios de corte seletivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Degrada\u00e7\u00e3o<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fatores como fragmenta\u00e7\u00e3o, efeito de borda, fogo e corte seletivo nem sempre resultam em desmatamento com a terra exposta, mas degradam os biomas. O detalhamento da plataforma do Mapbiomas aponta que 24% de toda a vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o nativa remanescente do Brasil est\u00e1 exposta a pelo menos um vetor de degrada\u00e7\u00e3o, uma \u00e1rea equivalente a 134 milh\u00f5es de hectares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Segundo Dhemerson Conciani, o maior entendimento desses dados fortalece a formula\u00e7\u00e3o e implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas para redu\u00e7\u00e3o das emiss\u00f5es de gases do efeito estufa provenientes do desmatamento e da degrada\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAo detectar a degrada\u00e7\u00e3o de forma precoce \u00e9 poss\u00edvel reverter esse processo e estabelecer \u00e1reas priorit\u00e1rias para recupera\u00e7\u00e3o da vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o nativa e consequente conserva\u00e7\u00e3o das
